NE1 was established to deliver a series of improvements to Newcastle city centre and to enhance the way it operates allowing Newcastle to compete more effectively on a European stage.

Improvements include creating a cleaner, greener, safer and more attractive city centre as well improving the promotion of its fantastic offer.

NE1 focuses on major issues highlighted by businesses to create long term growth and which have a significant impact on the ongoing regeneration of the city. Working together, NE1 provides a stronger voice for business, from small local interventions to long term strategic planning and change.
